Reading Visits Wakefield

On Wednesday, August 8, two members of Reading's Circulation Department visited Wakefield. They were met by Assistant Director, Laura Zalewski, who gave them a great tour of the Library. Then Marie, Head of the Circ Department, showed them around the Circ area, and explained how books are processed in Wakefeld. One major difference that was noted is that Wakefield circ staff also work in Tech Services. Another difference is that in Wakefield, the bins are unloaded out on the floor (Not in a back room, as we do in Reading). It fun and interesting to see how differnt libraries do things differently.
